Arizona Marijuana Legalization and Expungement
Part of the recently enacted Prop 207 includes a provision in the statute (A.R.S. § 36-2862), allows individuals who were arrested for, charged with, adjudicated or convicted by trial or plea to certain marijuana related crimes to apply to have the record charge/conviction expunged. If you were charged with: (1) possession, consuming 1/2 ounce or less of marijuana; (2) possessing, transporting or cultivating not more than 6 plants for personal use; (3) or possession, using or transporting paraphernalia related to marijuana, you are eligible to apply for expungement.
