Three Die In Auto Accident When Garbage Truck Fails To Yield Right of Way
October 31, 2013
In early October 2013 a garbage truck struck and killed three passengers when it struck a 2006 Kia SUV. The driver of the truck was an employee of the town of Skokie Illinois. The Plaintiffs allege that the driver of the garbage truck failed to maintain a proper lookout, that the truck was traveling 20 miles per hour through a school zone and that the driver failed to “beep” as such a warning was necessary. The plaintiffs intend to gain access to the subject vehicles to determine if any other factors played a role in the fatal accident.
