Chrysler Issues Recall For A Brake Defect

Chrysler Issued a recall for a brake defect in 870,000 SUVs including the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Dodge Durango models (2011-2014).  Apparently the brake’s crimp joints in the brake booster can corrode if exposed to water.  If the water freezes the boosters will not properly aid in breaking.  To date Chrysler has record of one reported accident but no injuries.

If you have a one of these makes and models you should contact your local Jeep/Chrysler dealer regarding the recall.  If you unfortunately were involved in a collision involving one of these vehicles you should consult an experienced injury lawyer to determine what if any claims you may have.
